How do I donate to WXLN-FM?

Any way you choose! You can donate the most convenient easy way (bank transfer, credit or debit card) securely online with ongoing Monthly gifts and/or Single gifts of any size.

Or if you prefer to use checks, you can make an ongoing monthly pledge or single gift pledge to WXLN-FM by contacting us by phone, or through the mail. We'll respond with information in the mail, providing you with a self-addressed return envelope to send your donation back to us in the mail.

Or you can call us anytime during office hours to donate over the phone the easy way, or to make a pledge.

What is the easy way to give?

This simply means donating using your bank transfer, credit or debit card. It's the most convenient way to give.

Is my donation to WXLN-FM tax-deductible?

Yes. WXLN-FM is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit ministry known as WXLN-FM Media Group, Inc. Donations of any amount are tax-deductible and greatly appreciated. You will automatically receive a year-end statement in January for tax purposes, summarizing your donations for the previous calendar year.

If I already have a monthly pledge with WXLN-FM, do I need to re-pledge every 6 months or every year?

No. We will assume your ongoing monthly pledge is just that, ongoing, because you want WXLN-FM to count on your support every month. Every so often we will ask if you want to continue at your same level of giving, and invite you to consider increasing your amount. At those times or at anytime, you are free to let us know what you want to do: continue at your same amount, change your amount, or discontinue. This helps us be better stewards of your gifts by planning and budgeting accordingly.

Is $10 per month the minimum amount accepted by WXLN-FM?

No. WXLN-FM accepts gifts of any amount, anytime, any way you choose to give. But $10 per month or a $120 single gift is the minimum required to receive exclusive benefits when choosing the easy way to give (bank transfer, credit or debit card).

Who are Impact Partners?

Everyone who donates financially is considered a partner in ministry with us because they are making a real impact on the lives of others in their community. We like to refer to the Individuals who do this as Impact Partners! Businesses, churches and other organizations that support WXLN-FM are referred to as Business Impact Partners.

Who owns WXLN-FM?

WXLN-FM is owned by the ministry called WXLN-FM Media Group, Inc. which is registered by the IRS as a 501(c)3 nonprofit Christian organization. We are NOT a for-profit, commercial business. As a nonprofit, WXLN-FM radio stations are not the property of any individual or shareholder; another distinctive of WXLN-FM that sets it apart from most other FM music radio stations you might hear.

Who Can Partner with WXLN-FM?

Anyone can partner with WXLN-FM whose heart beats with ours to see more students and young adults find hope in Christ.

Our financial partners, at every level, provide the all-important ongoing support needed to help reach thousands of lives everyday. People donate in a variety of ways: single one-time gifts, monthly gifts, by check, securely online, through their business, through a community foundation, large-size gifts, where they receive exclusive benefits as our way of saying ’thanks.’

Volunteers are the backbone of the work of the ministry working at our concerts, in the office and studios, and throughout the community sharing with others about WXLN-FM's impact.

What can I expect after I donate to WXLN-FM?

A friendly and timely ‘thank you’ receipt from us and, we believe, personal fulfillment from knowing we are in this ministry together impacting thousands of teenagers and young adults everyday in our community for Christ!

What is the main purpose of WXLN-FM's ministry?

WXLN-FM is a non-profit faith-based national organization reaching out with Christian music via radio and the internet encouraging thousands of youth and young adults in their life in Christ.

Where does WXLN-FM receive donations from?

WXLN-FM is a faith-based ministry and, choosing to bypass any government funds, depends completely on the generosity of donations from local individuals, organizations, churches, businesses and foundations. WXLN-FM concerts are also a source of funding, while at the same time serving a vital ministry impact role.

Why does WXLN-FM do what they do?

We feel called by God to use our resources and experiences as media professionals and communicators to reach the impressionable generation of youth for Christ.

Many of our own staff, including a senior executive, have come to Christ through contemporary Christian music. For us, this is more than a job, but truly a cause; a ministry to our culture.

How is WXLN-FM unique and unlike any other Christian music radio station?

In a time where radio station formats change constantly, WXLN-FM non-profit media group featuring Christian music on local radio, streamed on the internet, and producing live local concerts, for this impressionable age group of middle, high school and college students. There has been no ‘mission-drift’ in WXLN-FM’s history.

Our unique signature is identified by local involvement that positively and tangibly impacts our community's youth culture. Local activity includes Christian music concerts, community outreaches, and partnering with other Christian ministries targeted to students.

How does WXLN-FM do what they do?

By harnessing rapidly changing technology, we use primarily FM radio to reach as many teenagers and young adult as possible.

Also WXLN-FM streams its formats online to super-serve the "at work" listener and those outside our stations' listening areas. Since 16 million students between the ages of 10 and 18 have a cell phone, WXLN-FM's online streaming also positions the ministry for future growth so that people can listen anywhere in the world on their cell phones or other portable devices.
